"So this hotel allowed a team of some sort to use their lobby as an event room the night my family stayed here. They were so loud my kids couldn't even sleep. When this was brought up when we called at 1130pm they said the group was leaving.....they did not until 1am. How absurd is it that a hotel rents rooms to people, and allows some giant group to literally treat the hotel like a giant college dorm and then does nothing about it? I had to work early, no one in my room could sleep because even after the lobby was clear there were teenage kids running through halls, slamming doors and yelling for hours. When we told the front desk person in the morning they got really embarrassed and said sorry. Sorry just isn't enough. We would just like our money back from one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we have ever had. On a side note the front desk person told my wife it would be cheaper to not buy the $35 parking pass and to just pay the fee from the ticket. I paid $17 for being parked for an hour and then I paid $35 the next morning when I left. Clearly this person didn't know what they were saying at all and somehow got us to pay extra parking fees too. There are MUCH better hotels."
"We went to a Vikings game, perfect location and within walking distance of the stadium. And it has the ability to walk using the skywalk so you don’t have to freeze your bottom off the whole time Walking outside. The rooms were large and clean, great bed and comfortable pillows and it had a solid breakfast option. Our main complaints were with the communication/management. We called ahead for an early check in time hoping to get in at two instead of three. We actually arrived around 315, and our room was yet to be cleaned. They could give us no estimate on how long it would take. We ended up waiting about an hour and a half in the lobby. We would have made different decisions for the afternoon if we had known we couldn’t get into the room until even later. There was no mention of this when we called at noon which would have been nice. The manager seemed to be able to not offer no solution. They finally comped us the parking fee, but I pretty much had to ask for something in return due to the inconvenience. The next morning, we specifically called down to the front desk, asking about how much a pillow would cost as we really like the pillows and wanted to buy it. We were told we would get a call back within five minutes of the price. No callback. Went down to the front desk to check out at least half an hour later and no information as well. The manager literally walked away when he saw us coming to the desk. The attendant asked if we would be willing to wait for a couple minutes as he was busy. We finally just told The issues that we had had with communication over the weekend and how we always seem to end up waiting longer than a couple minutes. She just told us to take the pillow. Both inconveniences were rectified, but only after we pressed them a bit. It also just seemed a bit odd that it was a New Year’s Eve reservation, and the bar wasn’t set for a later time (closed at 10), breakfast could have been pushed back a little bit later in the morning, knowing that people likely stayed up late, and they ran out of syrup. Once again, all little things, but it just seemed to add to poor planning. I would think that for a holiday reservation, these things would be altered in order to accommodate for that. Besides that, it was a very comfortable stay!"
"We really enjoyed this hotel. Great location and comfort for the price. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious and the staff was very friendly. Perfect spot if you are going to a Vikings game"
"We loved staying here! The room was big/spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff members were very welcoming and friendly. The pool was nicely heated and clean, and there were 2 hot tubs, although 1 was out of order. I did read other reviews commenting on the parking issue. I chose to pay the $30 unlimited in and out rather than the daily limit. I didn't see any other way around it. Parking all over the city is pricey. But, I did feel like it was somewhat safer than any other option. Overall, we had a nice stay and will be back!"
"Stayed here last night and it was great! We picked it based on location, saw a show at the armory and wanted to walk back to our hotel and fall into bed. Checked in at 3pm and the gentleman working the front desk was incredibly friendly. Staff in the morning at breakfast was also wonderful and they had the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. 100% recommend this Hyatt."
