"The Orchid Show this year was crowded. They sold too many tickets. Line was long to get in. But the flowers were beautiful."
"The conservatory was gorgeous, the animals were all fun to see (and looked happy), and best of all it was FREE. Highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area and have time."
"Spent an amazing day at como zoo and conservatory. The polar bears were missing but seeing all the other animals was Uber fun!"
"Zoo is very bad place. I’m not a greenpeace type of person, but here I clearly can see that animals are suffering, especially polar bears and seals. Polar bear was barely alive and not even in cold environment. Only good thing about this place is greenhouse garden - so if you want to save your time and mental health - upon entrance near the pond with ducks just turn right into visitor center in the plants section. When you get outside through bonsai trees section - don’t miss Japanese garden, it is very good and authentic. On the entrance staff asked us to book tickets online, although there was no line or high demand. Only thing they were needed to scan a booking barcode on entrance. Why all thus hustle? If you want to count how many people are inside - count on enter and exit points. Asking for masks even outside, although staff walking around without them, although it would be better for visitors and animals if administration send all mask-police dummies to clean windows and cages with animals. Recommend this place only for garden and plants."
"I was in Minnesota visiting a friend and looking for something fun to do so we went online and saw the Como. We went over and toured the park both the zoo side and the conservatory. It was a great place and cool to think it is free and only runs on donation. I would highly suggest stopping in. Check out all the animals and plants they have."
