Reviews
"Positive experience. March Baby shower. Nice space. Appreciate enclosed park building at reasonable cost. Will definitely keep in mind for any additional future gatherings. Can see summer family events being great with nearby playground and walking/biking paths."
"We love Hansen Park! It's a nice size park with fun activities and ice skating in the winter"
"Parts of complex are still under construction, and some may be converted to reserve. Good work by Brad Martens and staff in trail upgrades. Looks like there could be locations adjacent to water where some community wild rice growing locations could exist."
"It is a vast and conducive area. I saw people walking around while others were playing on the seesaw, others sitting and watching nature. Some were walking with their dogs. It's one beautiful place to visit and have a calm and quiet time. A good place to discuss and a place to equally think. I just walked there this morning. It's still a beautiful place to visit"
"Definitely a stroll type of park. Would be great for families with small kids who can't walk far. I brought my dogs at dawn for a short walk of the perimeter of the park on a hot day. As we drove into the park a red fox crossed the road with a squirrel in its mouth. Not many birds and I did not see any waterfowl, not even mallards. Pretty flowers around the lake: a mix of native and invasive species. Plenty of trees for shade around most of the park. The north part is lake while the southern part has picnic tables, playground, ice hockey rink (I presume in the winter) tennis courts and baseball diamonds."
