"Half mile boardwalk through wetlands. Biked it Jan 31 2024. 58 degrees. Perfect. Great views of marsh. Nice interpretive signs along the way. Wouldn't recommend on hot sunny summer day. Mosquitos will be an issue summer evenings and early mornings."
"This is a great place to do a quick hike. It's about 2 miles if you follow the path. There are a ton of ducks in the spring, and it's fun to watch them land around you. This place is also pretty in the fall."
"Lovely area to take a walk in the spring, fall & winter. Summer might be a bit buggy. Boardwalk is easily accessible for walking, biking, and pets. Spacious and well maintained. Free parking lot."
"My greyhounds and I really enjoy this boardwalk through the wetlands. There are also pockets of woodland along the route. Great birding. At this time of year I had good views of indigo buntings, sedge wrens, flicker, dickcissel to name a few. The diversity of colors and textures of the flora was stunning."
"Gorgeous hike. A great addition to Blaine. From Lexington to the East Lake Park is about 1.5 miles. Boardwalk is super fun. Spotted few deer on my way. Spent sometime at the viewpoint."
