"Spendy place but you'll find what you need. The Kids menu is under $10, though. I like the ambiance and the history of being one of the oldest still in business in MN. This time, we were seated by the fireplace, and it just added to the ambiance. Service is top-notch, but not snooty type service. Noticed if one waitstaff is busy, another will jump in to help. You can get steak, walleye, etc, or just chicken strips, wraps or salads. So wide variety to please anyone in your party."

"This was a neat place to grab lunch on a Saturday. We arrived at 12:00 on a Saturday and there was just two women eating so I was a little hesitant about this place. However, once we got the menu and food, I understand why it's a local favorite. Food was great. It's a cool dining area and I was even able to sit next to the fire place to keep warm."

"Best authentic German food in New Ulm. Their ribs and sauerkraut are the best in town. The warmed up chocolate cookie wasn’t bad either. Great service"

"We went to the downstairs bar in Turner Hall for my mother's birthday celebration. I got the schnitzel with the spaetzle which was amazing. The schnitzel was crispy and flavorful and the spaetzle had the perfect tender consistency. Others in my group enjoyed the fish and chips, burger, and the fried shrimp. The alfredo wasn't the best. The noodles were a bit overcooked and the sauce tasted bland. We found that the drinks were reasonably priced and the skillet cookie with ice cream was delicious. Overall, we would happily go back if we're in town!"

"This place is so awesome (referring to the bar in the basement) I don't have to write a review...that being said, love your schnitzel and the fact schells is on tab has made this place into heaven on earth for me. Also, being German in descent it's good to go to a place where I can celebrate it."
