"Great bread, wonderful selection. Unfortunately the gentleman who helped us said “you don’t tip” rudely, under his breath when we chose not to tip on our two loafs of bread."
"2.5 Stars. Not great, very overhyped. As someone who enjoys baking, I found their scone very dense and not of a flaky/light texture. The cinnamon roll tasted very average, not a fan of the icing as frosting is a much better standard for cinnamon rolls. Will say the cost is very affordable; I am sure there are other things that are much better. No rush to be here again soon."
"I used to LOVE Breadsmith, but there is no question that they have changed their recipes in the last few years. The banana bread is two thirds of the size and now very dry. Today I got two cranberry muffins and ended up throwing them away. Dry as a bone. Tasted like corn bread with seriously three cranberries. Perhaps this is still a great place to get bread, but not a place for sweats. I would also avoid the pretzels. They look great but just taste like bread - not the chewy pretzel consistency your would expect."
"I finally made my way to this bakery after the chocolate babka was recommended to me with some high accolades. Unfortunately, it did not rise to the occasion. I found it to be very dense and the chocolate had a bit of an off putting taste. It also tasted old even though I got there about an hour after opening. Not sure if I came in on an off day last week, but I wouldn't order this again. On the upside, there was a public lot with free parking right up the street."
"There are a lot of different bread and baked good options to choose from, but they are all laid out in the open air which could explain why nothing tasted fresh. We got a soft Pretzel, Coconut Scone, and a Walnut Muffin. The Pretzel was okay but bland and a little stale. The Scone was mediocre. The addition of seating side would be nice. Would not recommend."
