"The selection of frozen meats, dried chilies, and pantry staples is much greater than at other cubs I've been. However, the shopping experience leaves a bit to be desired, especially the self checkout process. Half the machines were not working and produce prices are often higher than the competitor across the street. Come here for the selection as you will likely find what you're looking for."

"This cub foods need better Security who is professional and dressed professional over years I have seen different security come in and out of this place but the security they have now doesn’t seem to meet expectations of what security guard should have . I seen this one tall black guy who is security guard make poorest decisions with handling people who shop at cub foods I even seen him literally get in guys face like he was about beat that guy up about two to three months ago where the guy had bag of ice in his hand he got his face where the ice fell all over the ground . This security guard is very aggressive and I am seeing comments above and also hearing of other people in neighborhood that seen him be aggressive as well and mishandling situations with people . If he was working for different security company he would be fired and removed from this location do these behaviors. Workers at cubs foods need to be stocking and when they are stocking making sure product on the shelves aren’t expired food . I have found many times expired food on shelves and even bought food that was already expired ."

"It's a convenient store to shop at in Mpls & that's all. Their prices are a little too high on majority of the items in the store. A box of Corn Dogs 16 pack $8, shrimp 35-40 $9, Bread $2.99, Chips $4.25, Hamburger meat $15.99, etc. And the prices keep going up! Most people in Mpls aren't working right now or live off of govt assistance or SSI so alot of us can't afford these prices. Half the time you have to leave without certain things and basically get all the non brand items. No one wants to live like that it's not fun. I wish they would cater more to the less fortunate than so many rich people. Most of our money goes into stores like Cub & Target anyway. I've tried returning items here before but they always seem to not want to do the returns. I've been to plenty of other Cubs & have had no problem. The employees don't seem very friendly here. They are in a good mood with each other but when it comes to customers they don't act like that with us."
