"McKennan Park, the nucleus of the McKennan historical district, Avera McKennan hospital hosts dozens attractions and history for sioux falls. Huge trees, squirrels and a well manicured landscape set the atmosphere for recreation. Facilities include, over a dozen horseshoe pits, tennis courts, baseball, playground equipment, swimming pool(especially like this as they are slowly being replaced with splash pads Nationwide) tons of historical placards posted everywhere, rich green shrubbery, numerous gardens, restroom facilities and band shell that's been around as long as I can remember. Beautiful park... Highly recommend"
