About Us
Morningside Park, located at 2500 South Bahnson Avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a popular tourist attraction and recreational spot. The park offers a variety of amenities and activities for visitors to enjoy, including walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and more.
The City of Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation department is currently hiring for 150 seasonal positions for the summer. Visitors can also find information on routes, schedules, fares, and other important details about the park through SAM.
As spring approaches, Parks and Recreation is offering various programs for the community to embrace the season. In addition, in-person Absentee voting will be available at the Minnehaha County Administration Building for Sioux Falls voters.

"Very nice park. Lots of kids practicing soccer and football. Nice picknick shelter, playground and lots of well mowed grass for playing or sitting."
"My son is 20 months old and he loves this playground. I feel he is very safe on this playground as the ground cover is either recycled tires (this section bounces!) or soft wood chips. The equipment has lots of bars to keep him from falling off and it's easy for an adult to walk around the equipment to be where there are openings to prevent a little one from falling off. There's also a large grassy field to run around in, kick a ball, play Frisbee, etc. The playground has 2 basketball courts and lots of four square courts for older kids / adults."
"Nice big grassy area. Equipment has some neat features: climbing ropes, and a spinning disc. I would have given it a five, except the playground is shared with the local elementary school: it took me several months to visit because I wasn't sure if we were allowed to use the play equipment. And the picnic shelter is quite a distance from the play equipment."

"Morningside park is on the same property as a community center and elementary school. The park has 3 play sets and a soccer field, as well as a picnic shelter and lots of open space. The kids have lots of fun here."
