"Instead of turning late customers away, they apparently just lock them in instead...? I showed up 10 mins before close time (admittedly a douchey move, but my work hours are the same as theirs, and I I busted tail to try to make it in time). The gates were open, the cashier took my money and told me where to dump my load. There was no mention of their close time. As I was was shoveling my load, I assumed someone would be by to tell me I needed to wrap it up, but no one did, so I kept shoveling, which took me WAY longer than I expected. I was wrapped up 20 minutes after close, went to leave, and found that BOTH gates had been closed and locked with no employees or cars anywhere in sight. I called the number and knocked on all the doors, hoping someone was maybe hiding in the office, but literally everyone had left, locking me into their lot. Luckily, there was a *tiny* little spot not blocked with big rocks, and I was able to 4 wheel drive through it. I don't know what I would have done otherwise. Seriously, what in the actual eff? The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because their product is decent and their prices are relatively reasonable."

"Just had 3 tons of sand delivered, and Rock Hard surpassed my expectations! The girl that took my order was very polite and personable, they delivered the next day, and the delivery guy was so nice and professional! Prices are fair. All around great people. Will use them for all our large landscaping projects moving forward."

"They will cheat you, so don't waste your money here. I paid for 6 cubic yards of dirt from them. They gave me about 3. When I asked when the rest was going to be delivered they essentially told me to just use what I was given and leave them alone. As you can see from these pics, which I also sent to the employees, this pile is at very most 6ft by 7ft by 30in, which is 3.8 yards. Again, that's a high estimate, so really I was probably only given about 3 to 3.5 yards. That's absolutely nowhere close to 6 yards. If they only gave me about half the material I paid for they'll do the same to you, so you're better off buying your stuff from somewhere else. Apparently this company will just steal from you."
