"Herb (owner) and his son Brian are a 10 for quick turnaround on Screen repair. I also bought an awesome shovel that's lightweight, with an extra wide scoop based on Brian's suggestion. When I popped in for some last minute fun gifts for a "guy who's got everything", we came up with delight after delight. The gifts were a hit, especially a puzzle that Herb gifted me at no charge. When the big box stores lack true customer service, and you find yourself searching for someone to help you, just come to Rice street instead. Support local small businesses that have over 40 + years of steadfastness in their local community. Thanks Herb & Brian! Keep up the great work!"

"Brian was very rude. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what, but he needs to treat customers better. He had a sign on the door saying be back in 5. I waited approximately 5 minutes before knocking on the door. Brian came to the door and started yelling “can’t you read the sign!” “You shouldn’t have knocked!” At first I thought it was a joke, when I realized he was serious I asked him to lower his voice and reminded him that he works at a business and may need training in customer service."
