Landers Collision & Glass

"I have used Landers Collision & Glass in previous years with great service results. I've tried for two months to get a windshield replaced. The initial glass representative looking for the windshield glass never called me back, so I called back after a couple of weeks. I was told she would call me back, but I never heard from her. I called the manager of the glass department and left a message. One week has passed and no one has contacted me. I've tolerated a severely cracked windshield for two months, and I'm taking my business elsewhere."

"this review is regarding to their windshields only!! i had my entire windshield replaced less than 2 years ago. since then, i’ve gotten a crack that goes all the way from the top to the bottom of the windshield, a dime size rock chip, and i went to adjust my review mirror and it fell off and took an entire chunk of my windshield with it."

"I've thought about this for a couple months now and I hope that I can save some folks the difficult time that I went through. My truck had a considerable amount of cosmetic damage in the March 31st tornado and Landers Collision and Glass did the repairs. I fully understand that it would take a while. When my truck was ready for me to pick it up I was appalled at it's condition. There was debris (bumps) in the paint all over the truck. There were numerous paint drip lines, multiple scratches that I had to point out. The worst thing was the condition of the interior. Sanding dust coated everything. I really could not believe there were dusty hand prints on the headliner... How could this ever pass QAQC? I refused to take the truck. They made an attempt to make it better. When I went back to get it when they said it was done the second time I brought a coworker with me to get a second set of eyes. Also, I want an impartial view to make sure I wasn't out of line. It was better, but not good. My coworker said "It looks like the intern did this out back by the old oak tree". I agian declined to take possession. They worked on It another week. At this point I really needed my truck back (thankfully they provided me a loaner). The third time the truck was better but still has lots of debris in the paint and faint drip lines in the paint. They cleaned most of the sanding dust in the interior but I still had to clean the hand prints on the headliner. We found additional issues (scratched glass, headlight, and emblem) I elected to have a different place do the work and received a check for those leftover funds. Why would I want them to "fix" additional items when you can't fix the work you've already done. Landers was a well respected name in Saline and Paulski county for a long time. I hate they did such a shoddy job when they received plenty of money from my insurance company."
