"We have worked with Siwek Lumber for over 20 years on many projects. Their knowledge, customer service, product, price and on point delivery are second to none. They care about their customers and their communities they service. They are the go to for all things you would ever want to build."
"Picked up 26 1x12x14 pine boards today. Marty was great to work with and had no problem finding the boards needed. Worth paying a little more than the big box store. Siwek lumber always straight and true to size….All staff a real pleasure too…"
"I had a good experience picking up 26 sheets of plywood today, including baltic birch at a very reasonable price. Service was great and it was an easy purchase."
"We live in the city about one mile from Siwicks and we had to drive to Jordan, MN too get what we needed. We enjoyed the drive and stopped at the largest candy store in Minn. as well. The people at the lumber yard were all very nice and helpful."
"Went in today because I needed a piece of wood 1x8x21 inches for the bottom of my new mailbox. Gal in the front said to go look around to see if I could find something that would work. After looking around I spotted a cut-off piece on the floor under a chop saw. An employee asked me he could help so I told him what I needed. We looked at the scrap under the saw and I said that would do. It was slightly oversized and he said he could trim the length but couldn’t trim the width. I said fine and as he was trimming it he told me it was cedar and I said great. He sent me to the office to pay for it. And boy did I pay for it. One of the women in the office looked at it and said” that’s 12.50 a foot”. Any other day I would have walked out, but I was there and I needed it so I pulled out my plastic and got hit up for $25.83. This was a scrap of wood that I rescued from the floor. The original size was 23x10”. I’m not in the habit of writing reviews, but this act of retail madness has totally turned me off to Siwek, and I’ll never go there again. In closing, if our roles had been reversed I would have asked the customer if they would mind paying for the one cut, and thrown in the wood for nothing. But that’s just me. Make your own judgement."
