"I had so much fun meeting all the animals at the Red River Zoo. I have never been so close to an otter and the friendliest of deer. The chameleon was so photogenic, it seemed to be smiling. Thank you so much to the staff and caretakers that make such a wonderful experience possible!"
"This was such a cute little zoo! Had it not been so cold, we would've spent more time there! We were very surprised to see lots of indoor viewing places that were nice and warm and had bathrooms! The animals were very interactive! A wolf came running towards us like a puppy and seemed to want our attention! For as small as it is, it's beautiful and charming, and I recommend this to anyone! Sometimes less is more; and I mean that you can spend so much more time enjoying the scenery and animals! Rare ones at that! We truly enjoyed this zoo more than was anticipated! If we ever end up in Fargo again, we'll be sure to come again! Thanks so much!"
"Great zoo! We were visiting from out of state, and we wanted things to do with our family. It is well worth the visit. The animals are well cared for, the carousel is fun, and the staff is super friendly and helpful!"
"It was really hot the day we visited this zoo. However, they had areas that were well shaded. There were a couple of buildings that were airconditioned. The zoo was pretty well laid out. We paid extra to do the Red Panda experience. Totally worth it! They also have some animals that you don't see in all zoos. You can get through the zoo in about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Enjoyed walking through this zoo."
"Great family zoo. Small, easily walkable footprint. Generally well maintained. Knowledgeable staff. Paper handouts didn’t list daily educational programs or “feeding” programs. Several animal habitats didn’t match the paper handout - moved or missing altogether. Wished the demonstration prairie garden out front and Asian interior garden plants were labeled. Wished for shade - trees in the parking lot."
