"The office workers are nice but Dr Massanelli is very rude and unconcerned. I came in to get results of my MRI and he said nothing was showing wrong with my shoulder so I told him the nurse mentioned tendinitis on the phone. He says oh everyone has tendinitis you’ll just have to deal with it then when I asked what did he suggest next if therapy doesn’t work again and he told me I’m wasting my time going to sit in doctors offices and I just need to deal with it! He is saying this with a stern face and attitude while repeatedly cutting me off while I’m trying to explain how long I’ve had swelling and shoulder pain and I was just trying to give him a complete overview on what’s been going on with my shoulder and he wasn’t trying to hear any of what I was saying. He gave me a steroid shot and didn’t tell me what it was or the side effects of it nor did the papers I was given explain the steroid shot treatment I had received. I feel like he was handling me as if I was trying to get pain medication. This was my 1st visit to a orthopedic and I will be changing docs and getting a second opinion by someone who listens and hears their patients out because a doctor can’t properly treat you if he can’t hear out what’s going on with you."

He has replaced both of my knees, did a complete knee (acl) rebuild on my youngest son and repaired my wife's broken wrist. All surgeries were successful with great results. "I went to Dr. Massanelli because of pain in my knee. He gave me a shot in my knee and sent me on my way without giving me a single word of warning that the shot would cause intense pain, much less prescribe some pain medicine for that night. I wondered why the women in the office sniggered as I left. I think he is nothing short of a sadist. I cried in agony most of that night. Only a sadist would send a patient away knowing she would be in pain and not warn her or give her any pain killers."
