"We took the Pig Tail l highway from Fayetteville to Paris, AR then 5 miles out of town to the Subiaco Abbey. Lovey self guided tour. We arrived in time to sit in on lunch time prayer with the monks which begins at 11:45 and last only 15 minutes, what a blessing. We are not Catholic but enjoyed it very much. The church & grounds are so beautiful. For history, for architecture or landscape architecture; it is worth a visit. On Saturdays their brewery is open. The monks also make candles, soap and hot sauce!!"

"I come here for still ness. Rates aren’t bad. But Catholics really have a value for retreats and places that are affordable for prayer. I was raised in a Protestant tradition but now only follow Jesus. I love my orthodox and catholic brethren. This place is peaceful."
