"I think dr warford is a very sweet kind doctor."

"I don’t ever leave reviews on anything, but I felt very moved to do so when it comes to this doctor. I went into CHI last week to be induced for labor, and Dr. Warford is just who happened to be on call the night I was admitted. This was my second child and second induction, due to having large babies. This time when I went in I did have a birth plan, as I was wanting to avoid as many interventions as possible, and I wanted those wants to be expressed to whomever would be delivering my baby. I am not a doctor, but I do feel I should have some say over my body during such a traumatic event. Well this led to issues with Dr. Warford. During admission I signed all my papers except for one, and that was because I did not give consent to certain interventions. That wasn’t a problem for anyone, except Dr. Warford. He then waits until my husband leaves the room (the ONLY time my husband ever left me) to come in and become very rude and coercive by telling me that I have no say in my own body, and if I plan to be induced that I could either sign the form or leave, didn’t make a difference to him. Mind you, I haven’t spoken more than 5 words to this man before he comes in and does this. Then, as I ask more questions regarding the interventions and the form, he then goes on to not only not be reassuring at all, but he then proceeds to laugh, tell me that it isn’t up to me to decide what gets to happen, only HE gets to do that, and then has the audacity to say “any more questions? You seem confused. In which case all you need to do is worry about signing on that line right now, or leave.” Doctor or not, no one should speak down to their patient in such a way, make them feel unheard, and use coercive language like that. Thankfully, I ended up delivering with another doctor on call the following morning. She was MUCH more reassuring, told me I very much DID have a right to say what would happen to my body during labor and delivery, and that nothing would happen unless I gave the okay, which is all I was looking for. I just wanted to be heard and respected during that time, in which case I received neither from Dr. Warford. He is highly disrespectful, disregarded any and all concerns of mine, and seemed he felt above anyone that did not comply to his demands."

"Dr.Warford was my ob my whole pregnancy. He was very understanding and answered each and every question my husband and I had. Just wish he could’ve delivered my baby. Would recommend to any new young mama :)"

"I had a horrible visit. I came with with a prolonged period and wanted to see why. He never offered to give me an exam, only forced birth control which I was already taking prescribed by another doctor. He failed to see I had a cyst on my left ovary and did in fact need surgery. He told me surgery was not necessary at this time and made it sound like it wasn't necessary at all."

"How does Dr Warford not have any reviews yet??!! I scheduled with Dr Warford because he was the first available. Boy did I luck out, he is seriously the best physician I've ever had. He actually listened to what I had to say and was totally genuine. He never made me feel uncomfortable which I was nervous about seeing a male ob. I wanted the most natural experience that I could have in a hospital setting and he did his best to stick with my birthplan! I would highly recommend Dr Warford!"
