"I haven't had too bad of an experience, but at least 50% of the time I go to this location, it'll be closed despite saying on Google that it's open, and the hours on the window saying it's open."
"The St. Louis Park store would not take my return of a Chi Waver even though the website states that they are returnable even if the box has been opened. I told the associate that the return policy stated that electronics are returnable but was told that had changed. The store in Minnetonka took my return with absolutely no issues."
"If I could give zero stars I would. I asked an associate for help and she was nice but had to check with her manager. Her manager was the most negative and rude person I’ve ever met. So annoyed with her job and made my entire experience horrible. I couldn’t wait to leave. I found myself apologizing for her helping me because she was so annoyed. NEVER going here again."
"I came in wanting to do an exchange but I found myself doing a return and buying an item that was a bit more expensive. Seems like managers can only do the exchanges or returns unless the other store associate hasnt been trained on it yet. The person in front of me did a return and that took a while. Funny cause it seems she also made a google review because of her experience with the manager too. Lol When it was my turn, the manager was so unprofessional making remarks like “oh my god..” or “ugh” noises. Im pretty sure she was glaring at me from time to time too or at least thats what it looked like to me. I dont know how tedious the task of returning is or if it really is THAT hard, but her attitude was rude and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was uncomfortable for everyone standing in line waiting. She pretty much chucked my returned item in the return box like she was fed up. After she finished, she just handed me the receipt without saying anything. I even thanked her regardless. That manager did the same with the customer in front of me even when customer apologized for the inconvenience. I hope she chooses not to work with customers for her next job because she really is not good at controlling her emotions and dealing with any type of stress. Welp, glad its not my local sally’s beauty because I won’t be returning back to this one."
"I’ve debated about posting about my experience from the other night, as I’d like to think we all have bad days and days where we aren’t at our best. But more it sits I realize I can’t keep quiet, I’ve worked in retail for 9 years and worked at Sally’s as well. The pandemic has made things difficult and Sally’s has struggled to remain open; which I applaud them for. However, I won’t be returning to this location I was treated rudely on the phone and the sales associate was incredibly unkind. I’ve been sick the past few days with Influenza and doing store pickup for most things as I don’t wish to make anyone sick or be exposed to anything else. I’ve done order pickup and curbside with Sally’s multiple times and never had an issue. I need some supplies to fix my nails and to cheer myself up out of my fever addled brain. I placed an order like I always have online, and then drove the next when my fever was down to collect it. I’ve never had an issue with order pickup and curbside, at any location. I was met with rudeness and curt replied when I called saying that they no longer allow curbside pickup with online orders. I was so taken aback at how rude she was and to be honest floored as she talked down to me like I was a child. I offered to confirm the order number, but instead got a continued lecture. I said I was sorry that it wasn’t an issue before and I wasn’t trying to get anyone sick. That was dismissed with a “Well I’ll do this one time for you and there won’t be a next time.” I mentioned I had two orders as well as I had done curbside before at that location, and that was dismissed. I waited in the car she came out sans a mask, and I thanked her and explained that I have Influenza I didn’t want to give to anyone. “I’m not trying to be rude but those are the rules.” As she dropped the one bag, I’m more than aware now. She also never gave me my second order which I have no desire to return to that store and I’ll gladly go to another location. If the rules have changed okay that’s alright, but don’t be rude and curt in responses. I was also not wanting to give anyone Influenza either, which was also dismissed and that tells me she’d rather put herself, coworkers and customers at risk. Always be customer service focused, kind, and respectful. If rules change, explain in a nice respectful way."
