"our car was hit and totally lost, they gave us a very low quote, after 3 days of the quote given, they refused to pay anymore rental fee. we were hit, and pay rental by ourselves. we were very disappointed to have the Progressive to be our insurance company, and our adjust person (Kayla Burg) is rude. we gonna change the insurance company definitely!!!"
"Worst experience with an insurance company in 30 years. They will attempt to not fix any possible parts of your vehicle, unless you plan on fighting everyday with them. They do not respond back and often change stories on why and who is in responsible. As the paying customer, you can expect to be treated poorly and have the claim process take entirely too long, at your expense. I hit a deer, and after almost 3 months without a vehicle, progressive is now claiming they will not fix any internal parts. Whatever money you might save in premiums is a drop in the bucket to how badly they will mistreat you when you actually need insurance. I will be canceling my policy and staying as far away from them as I can. Don't make the same mistake I did!"
"I would give 0 stars if it was a choice. Some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I have been in the customer service business for 40 years and Progressive claims people are shameful. Things are not explained completely. Phone messages are not returned timely and when they are they have the information you left wrong. When you talk to someone to try to get things straightened out they cut you off in mid-sentence and do not allow you to explain. They turn the tables and tell you the problems are because of you, even though they do not respond timely and get your voice message information correct. And why in the world do they need up to 5 days to show up for an estimate? They want a drop off date from me, yet it's actually a drop off week almost. Things aren't always that easy-to be without your car for a week and a car rental place of their choosing is over an hour away. I was told after many calls and being put down, that all they need is a drop off date from me. What they really need is some decent customer service training. I am disgusted and frustrated. I am the injured party and Progressive is the other party's coverage. I need the estimate and the work done so I am at their mercy. Shame on that company."
"Terrible experience. Disappointed to say that I am the one insured with them. They are impossible to get in contact with and they are incredibly lazy. I had to do all the work of finding the insurance of the person who hit me just to find that they hit me with an uninsured vehicle, leaving me to progressive. It’s been three months since my accident and I still have no appointments to fix my car and have not heard from them. On top of that they said they will increase my rate by $100 because of the accident even though they deemed the other person at fault which makes no sense. Im disgusted with this money hungry company. I pay for premium insurance and will say ITS NOT WORTH IT. A $1000 dollar deductible i will not get back and $100+ monthly all because of an accident that I did not cause. It’s almost comical."
"Unbelievably negligent company. Communication is nonexistent. I had to call daily for weeks and then go to a supervisor to finally get a response. They refuse to cover damage. One of their drivers hit multiple parked cars causing extensive damage and Progressive are simply refusing to accept any responsibility. We have received nothing but excuses. Absolutely despicable the way they treat people."
