"WARNING: Do not use this agency We have been customer of this agency for 40+ years and never had a large claim. We purchased a new home and immediately began renovations. Unfortunately, we had a water leak that was not detected for six months, we were living out of state. Needless to say, the leak caused extensive damage. Christiansen’s agent Christine Andrews told us to “hang onto our receipts and submit them when the entire claim was ready”. So six months later we contacted Chubb and they have now refused our claim primarily because we did not let them know about the leak right away so they couldn’t get adjusters out to physically see it. Christine never helped us submit, nor negotiate, this claim. My husband has 100+ hours working on this with the Chubb adjuster and contractor. Christiansen group has sat on their hands, never contacted us to help, and done nothing but cash our premium checks. Clueless, Compassionless, and Lazy."
