"It was ok...quaint. Clean but old w that old camper smell. (The older motels have a certain charm to me personally). Friendly staff. Tried booking w them last summer & this summer. Last year it took forever for someone to answer the phone to say they were remodeling the rooms we were interested in. A few weeks ago I called, several times & left messages, my calls were never answered or returned. We wanted to stay here because it's the closest motel to where we "play" during the day & just need a place to sleep w kids. If they are no longer in business or booked up they could atleast let the public know so they can use their time searching elsewhere."

"The owner answer our call at 10 at night when our camper had problems. She was the kindest person to us and our little family in our time of need. Immaculately clean rooms. Zero bugs! Comfy beds with lots of pillow choices. Nice cold rooms in the summer. Even have a room with three beds in it! Will definitely be back. Heavens, she even rescues dogs! We love these people."

"Very friendly and accommodating. I drove in from East Texas and when I got here they had the heater and the T.V. on for me so I didn't have to come in to a cold quiet room. The room was small, clean, and affordable, exactly what I needed. Will stay here again and would recommend this place for anyone going to Eagle Rock Loop."

"When my husband and I left headed to the diamond mines the day after Christmas, 2014, we had been looking for a hotel close, but were not sure where we would stay. I had been looking at Daisy Motel, because it was so cute, online, and affordable, and advertised no reservations required. We pulled into their parking lot with 3 cars total, saw a sign on the door of the office to call a number to get a room, so we did. Upon answering the phone, we were informed they were closed and had no rooms, but we could come back tomorrow for a room. I was infuriated. Our gas light was on, and absolutely nothing was open, and it was only 6:30pm. We left mad with no gas and continued towards another town, only to find ourselves passing a sign that said, Vacancy. We continued toward a lake, and my husband told me to turn around for that vacancy sign. We pulled up and weren't sure where to knock when the door popped open, and a lifesaver said, "Do YA'LL need a room?" We explained our situation, and the fellow explained, he had ethanol free gas, a grocery store, and 1 or 2 bed rooms with half or full kitchens. We were elated. He opened the store, sold us groceries, gas, and a room. We were so pleased with their service, we stayed an entire week with them, visiting the store anytime we needed anything, and even used, their personal grill to fix some steaks, a couple of nights. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had!!!!!!! Great people!!!!!!! Exceptional service!!!!!!!!"
