"I was in the area working an outage at the nuclear power plant. My company put me up here. Now I travel alot with my job and have had to deal with plenty of 2 star motels but this dump takes the cake. The heating cooling unit did not work just blew air nether hot or cold but after a long day of travel I just wanted to sleep. The next morning I jumped in the shower and the knob literlly fell off. I had to use a pair of pliers to take a shower. I went by the office and told them what problems I had discovered asked if they could be fixed or if they could change my room. I returned that evening to discover No one had been in my room. I used the old paper in the door trick. None of my concerns had been addressed. I asked to just get a new room. I was promptly told all of the other rooms were reserved (a whole tree trimming crew was coming in). They assured me they would come fix my stuff though. About an hour later this man showed up at my door. He looked at the shower and fixed it the best he knew how using my tools and Teflon tape. I asked him about the A/C unit and he said he couldn't fix it. So I asked him about another room and he said about half of the rooms had visibl black mold in the bathrooms. I said if there is visable mold in half the rooms then it is in all the rooms. He agreed and we parted ways. I went and got in the shower while in there I noticed that places in the bathroom had fresher paint then others. I got out and went straight to the office. I was told no problem no problem and that someone would come fix my a/c unit. I walked out the door and called my boss to fix this problem and I returned to my room. By this time the tree crew had showed up and the party was in full swing. There were probably 25 of them shoved in 5 rooms but they were all around me. That's when I figured out all the upstairs rooms couldn't be rented because of mold. It was around 7:00pm so I ran to get a bite to eat and to some things for work in the morning. By the time I returned there were people all over the place drinking and playing music really loud. I returned to my room and sat watching some TV hopeing the noise outside would stop (it didn't) Just before midnight I looked outside and saw people leaning all over my $60,000 truck and Corona bottles on the hood. That was it. I got my bag togather walked outside grabbed 3 beer bottles off my hood and threw them on the ground. A Hispanic gentleman who spoke english came up to me and asked what the problem was and I told him what the problem was and I was calling the police about them beings on my truck. I never would have never done it but he pulled out his wallet offered me $100 for the problem if I wouldn't call the police. I took the unexpected money went to Russellville and got a nice room untill my company could work out new logistics. So with all that being said the economy in in Dardanelle Ar is a DUMP. It was told to me that they were increasing there room rates during the eclipse from $75 a night to $500 a night so be careful"
"This is a pit. Curtains are stained and nasty. The decor and furniture is from some serial killers home circa 1980. It smelled like pot/weed but I think that was wafting from another room via the vent. Room was 375 for the week going up to 550 per night during the eclipse."
"I’ve lived here a little over 3 months in 3 different rooms. Service is great, and the owners are really good people. The beds are VERY comfortable. My only complaint is that the ACs are not quite cold enough. However, the ACs do get cold enough for me to still consider the rooms very livable. I have enjoyed my stay here. I will definitely recommend this motel to my friends and family, and I will likely return in the future."
"Staff was very nice to us. Hard to understand what he's saying but a very nice guy all the same. The rooms weren't bad. No bugs or anything and it's right in the middle of some useful stuff."
