"Had my wisdom teeth removed here. Dr. Lam prescribed NO pain medication whatsoever, was told to take over the counter. Was in the worst pain i’ve ever had, and i’ve gone thru IUD insertion. Don’t go here. My cheeks swelled up like a chipmunk."

"Too hit or miss here to really trust them with my care. Had a weird first experience, but gave them another try after Dr. Lam went above and beyond to gain back my trust. Second visit was better (hygienists are great!), but ultimately moving on. The front end staff is not very friendly, they messed up our billing, and generally, I just haven't been impressed Update: removing another star due to more billing issues"

"I had been going to Park Dental Salem Square for about 15 years. I loved my hygienist Jen and Dr. McDonnell. I had my husband start going to Park Dental and my kids moved from a pediatric dentist to Park Dental because Dr. McDonnell and Jen were GREAT! Since they left the practice has not been the same. I schedule my appointments 6 months in advance and several times in the past few years my families appointments often get canceled due to the dentists schedules and other issues, then I have to wait months for the next appointment because I am a teacher and morning and day time appointments do not work for my family. A few years ago my husband received a call that Park Dental had a power outage and his appointment was canceled; so he went to work. They called a while later and said come on in power is on; he said he was on his way from work. He got to the clinic and he was too late for them to see him. He had to reschedule and then drive back to work. If my family gets dental work done we always paid the estimate and then at the next appointment if I had a balance I would pay then. This was never an issue and I never owed more than $200 for my family of 4 combined. I had questions about a bill and someone was supposed to look into it in June but I never heard back. I thought no big deal I’ll figure it out at our next appointment. After being a patient for 15 years I trust them they trust me….no big deal. About 10 days before my son’s appointment I got a voicemail from Park Dental. I figured it was an appointment reminder so I never listened to the voicemail. It was actually the practice manager saying we need to discuss my outstanding balance. I got another phone call a few days before my sons appointment, I thought it was a reminder call for my daughters appointment which was a few days after my sons, so again I didn’t listen to the voicemail. We showed up to my sons appointment and apparently the doctor had to change their schedule (reason for second voicemail) so 6-8 week wait for an evening appointment. I asked them to speak to the dentist to see if they can get us in earlier so my family stays on the same dental schedule; it’s not our fault the appointment is rescheduled and again morning and daytime appointments do not work for my family. I schedule 6 months in advance because I need evening or weekend appointments only. I received a voicemail a few days later from the practice manager that my account was overdue, so all future appointments have been canceled for my family. I called her back and she was super rude and said that she had consulted with Dr. Lam and my bill was sent to collections. My bill for less than $84!!! Not only are they tarnishing my credit over $83.85 but I am now losing out on my $1000 HSA bonus for having my dental cleanings completed by a certain time. I paid the measly amount I owe them and will NEVER return!!! I cannot believe I need to find a new clinic after 15 years at Park Dental all over less than $84! Not a very good business move Palia and Dr. Lam."

"Today was my first dental appointment with Park Dental at Salem Square. I was very impressed. Everyone was very thorough and the dentist really took time to explain to me things regarding my teeth. The forms to fill out ahead of time seemed extra long, but I guess that's modern life."
