"I've stayed here for 3 nights, the house is absolutely stunning. So much room, clean, vintage, full of facts, history books, amazingly comfy beds and new appliances. I would say it is the perfect mix of new and old. Great for history buffs, extended family coming to town, would also be great for a family get together. Center of town yet tucked away. The showers are amazing, including a old antique bath tub, and my favorite spot is the quite reading nook in the corner of the second floor. They put a lot of quality work into this house and they did an immaculate job. The only issue we had the entirety was the electronic door lock that I think the severe cold was getting to it, but everytime we had this issue the owner answered the phone and fixed it immediately. We will be back again for sure! Just a great experience."

"What a beautiful restoration job done on an old house! The old and new are blended so well! We liked how things found during the restoration process are now part of the decor: old wallpaper and a partial corset are framed, pictures of the previous owner, pieces of the original flooring, etc. The house is very comfortable and well stocked! We drove several hundred miles out of our way to stay here, as I had watched the transformation of the house on Facebook and wanted to see it in person! We were not disappointed! Thank you for a great visit and enjoyable stay!"

"The home has been beautifully restored. Great location close to family. Comfortable beds and a fantastic shower. The kitchen is large and has everything needed to cook and feed a group. We had 9 family members for at least one meal per day. Betty is a most considerate hostess and sees to it that you have everything you need. I will definitely stay again.
