"The grounds were clean and the room was spacious. Nice quiet stay close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Breakfast was not bad. I imagine there would be more if the place is fully booked, but what was served was great! It is pleasant to walk around the park and learn about the history. Don't miss the Black Smith.!"
"Had a great 1 night stay at this B&B in the State Park. Vey well kept and we actually had the whole place to ourselves! Breakfast was an amazing croissant sausage bake and plenty of sides. Beautiful little town with some amazing old buildings to see, and don't miss the worlds largest magnolia tree just down the street. (Pics posted are specific to the B&B itself. Much more to see in the rest of the park."
"This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The room and bathroom are large. There are several common areas with games to play and books to read. Great get away!"
"Historic Washington State Park was so fun and interesting, the Jonquil Festival was awesome. Great music from the Nighthawk Band out of Texarkana Texas. Food was great."
"Stayed here for two nights on Halloween weekend and was surprised that my wife and I were the only people that stayed here considering the park had their Washington After Dark event on Saturday night. We're frequent visitors to the park, but this is our first time staying at the bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean and modern, with flat screen TVs, DirecTV, fast wifi, real comfy beds and heat and AC. Check-in is at the visitor center in the 1874 courthouse across the highway from the B&B, and building and room entry is via a keypad lock. Breakfast was served from 8am to 9am (though I think it was mostly because my wife and I were the only visitors staying there at the time). The building itself was originally a jail years ago when Washington was the county seat, and there's a pillar that goes through the dining area and two of the upstairs rooms that has the names of some of the inmates that were incarcerated there, which is interesting. Overall we had a really great experience there and hope to stay there again in the future."
