"I would give United Healthcare zero star if I could. I keep getting toll free spam calls from them CONSTANTLY!!!!! AT&T doesn’t mark toll free numbers as spam calls, so I’m so annoyed when I pick up those stupid calls. Those ladies are so rude on the phone. I said: “please take me off your calling list,,” and they just ignore me and continue promoting their product. Dumb people, so I assume United Healthcare is dumb, too. I hope my feedback will reach United Healthcare headquarter and they do something about it. Selling products this way doesn’t work. You make people hate you. I would never do business with United Healthcare due to this unpleasant phone experience"
"The below details how this company dis-serviced my high-risk pregnancy wife. Hello United Customer Service, The following is a lengthy grievance regarding the quality of support your company provided me and my family regarding the denial of pregnancy claims for my wife, who was a high risk case, and my disdain for the quality of service and communication provided to us by your organization in denying our medical needs. Today, I received a letter in the mail suggesting that our high-risk pregnancy claims for my wife were being denied because "we did not file an appeal in a timely manner". This is highly unacceptable, not because it is not within UHC's right to deny a claim, but because since receiving notice of our denied claims from last August, my wife and I spent numerous hours reaching out the UHC via phone calls and messages, and by the time a UHC representative told us (after we had been told UHC "was looking into our claim, we would hear back") that we needed to file a claim appeal, apparently the clock had - very conveniently - run out on our right to appeal. The inability of this organization to provide knowledgeable support to members regarding the process they need to follow after multiple phone calls and messages regarding the denial of high-risk pregnancy claims, and then rejecting payment of said claims because we didn't "act in a timely manner" because your people told us to do no such thing, is farcical. As the little people who are your members, I am bitterly, bitterly disappointed in this organization in not responding to our needs in the manner that we needed, and then effectively blaming us for not doing what we were supposed to do when other messages and representatives told us to do otherwise. As a result, I will continue to buy your insurance not at all because I want to but because I have no alternative. In the meantime, unless UHC intends to do the right thing and pay the high risk pregnancy claims it rightfully owes after denying them and having people so remarkably incompetent that they were unable to help us until the clock suspiciously ran out, I will do as much damage to your brand as I possibly can out of my absolute disdain for your unethical and shameful performance. I sincerely hope it is worth the $400 you have decided to screw my family out of because you could not do your job correctly. With apologies to whoever reads this (because I know you individually are not responsible for the above failures of your company), I appreciate your time. Cedean Kematick"
"It honestly is a horrible feeling to know that your health insurance company would literaly rather see you die a guaranteed slow painful death than to covrr a treatment that would most likely end your suffering and restore your life to something that resembles a life. Im 56 and because i cant afford treatments for my neuropathy out of pocket im just screwed. I hope every one of the people responsible for deciding these things gets what I have and cant afford the treatments. Terry J. Moore"
