"Warning: There is no free parking or designated free parking for customers. There are street metered parking spaces, $3 per hour. I love the fact that I could just go and grab as much items or serving I want from the fridges and not having to wait for a waiter or waitress put down your order. Downfall, their variety can be limited. Like for example, there was no pork belly or pork meat was available during visit. Please note, your guest and you will be sharing one great pot (no individual pots) together with a maximum of two different broth can be put in the divider pot. Tried their boba tea drinks, it was awesome."
"The meat quality was great. Wished there were more meats that were seasoned or marinated but overall, the meat quality is very good. Very well worth the money for AYCE. The veggies were clean. The seafood was great. The broth was pretty good. Very flavorful for the spicy broth. We also got the non spicy broth and it wasn't bad but if you want a more flavorful experience, definitely do the spicy broth. The only downside was the service. The employees were very nice. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, around 4pm, it was only the 2 of us. The employees were nice and welcoming but did not come back to check on us after we were settled and eating. We had to go to them and ask for more water and napkins. After that, then they started to check up but we were on the end of our stay. Parking. We had to park at the parking lot behind the Jungle Theatre. Walking there wasn't bad but there isn't parking around. But there are some questionable people walking around but they won't do anything. Overall, a solid spot for AYCE hot pot. Would highly recommend coming here if you want hot pot in this area."
"Hot pot is a new experience for me. My friend brought us here for all-you-can-eat hot pot and showed me the ropes. A simple concept - a ring on the table heats the pot of broth. Into the broth, you pour in stuff to cook. And when it's cooked, you pull it out and eat. We opted for two broths - beef and tomato. And then it's time to load up a bowl from the coolers. Different frozen meats including chicken, beef, meatballs, octopus, crawfish. A second cooler with veggies including onions, mushrooms, peppers and the like. There are also a few different types of noodles available. Yes, it's all you can eat. They will refill the broth as needed and they will bring more rice. It's delicious and you can absolutely get your money's worth here. Yum!"
"Solid little corner restaurant. Fair selection and standard pricing. Makes good use of their space. Detailed review below: In terms of things to praise, I do quite like the standard formula of you getting to see and pick out what ingredients you want to use for your hotpot and how much. I know this is the standard, but nonetheless it’s a plus and worth a mention since some places aren’t like that. In terms of the selection as well, it’s quite solid, it covers most of the bases. I would have liked a bigger variety in regards to tofu, but all in all it’s quite solid. There’s also a wide variety of sauce and paste variety, there’s 0 complaint in that regard. It’s solid. Their tomato soup broth is also fantastic, a great flavor. The lychee slush is also something I’d recommend even if I’m not typically a fan of slush, it’s fantastic. In terms of cons; Ill get a quick nitpick out the way and get onto the actual cons. I don’t quite like the decor and how the seats are. It’s comfortable but can also be annoying. It’s not a big deal but small nitpick. Their fountain drinks are truly fountain drinks, bottom of the barrel. I could taste the fountain and water and my diet pepsi, and 2$ for that is just…ugh. In regards to their Thai milk tea, it’s easily the most…unlike Thai milk tea I’ve had? It was exactly bad, but it was very distinctive in the sense it wasn’t Thai milk tea. It lacked the signature taste that all thai milk tea tends to have. Their tapoica is also subpar. The consistency is nonexistent, as some pearls are very hard whilst others are soft as normal. All in all it’s not bad, solid restaurant dedicated to hot pot, there’s nothing else in terms of steamed buns or anything. Just hotpot and drinks."
"This place is such a gem! So happy to see a hot pot place in uptown we needed it! The broths are deliciously seasoned. There’s a good selection of meats and veggies. The biggest thing we love about this place is that it’s buffet style, you get to choose the amount of each meat etc. I really love it because there’s less waste! The server was super kind and always checking in. Edit: I came in for my second time because we we’re craving this so much. And I was given a beautiful bracelet by the waitress. Made my day. Absolutely love this place."
