"Booked a party for my son. The staff was very friendly and the party area was great! Everyone had a blast!!"
"This place has trainer bars to help you learn if you're new or relearning after some years. It was a great experience for the kids! No outside food or drink unless you do a party. There is a snack bar. The kids in our group were all 11+ but would recommend for kids 4+. Staff is very friendly and helpful!"
"My son and I had an amazing time when we were there."
"All the staff was helpful and excellent with even the youngest kids except 1. We went with the home schooled group. My son had a blast. Thank you one and all."
"I am from a large city out west. I have been to several Skateland facilities. I was excited to bring my boys here to try the new rink in Harrison. I found the place very fun. The front loby is small but the rules are clearly displayed. If you bring your own skates, be prepaired to have them inspected. We rented both normal skates and inline skates. The skates had lower heels than we are used to.The inline skates were $2 more. Skate rental is included in the entry cost. The entry price was decent. It's $8+ back home. Once you pay, the electronicly sealed door is buzzed open and you can go in. The carpet is so fun! the designs glow under the UV light that comes on often during the session. There were glowing mouth guards sold so I saw many happy glowing grins flash by on the rink. They didn't offer UV facepaints. That would have been wild. The bathrooms are barn styled, wood stalls with doors. the handicap accessible stall is right up front and easy to get to. Combinatin lockers are available, you buy the combination code at the skate rental booth. The down side is that it is hard to see the combination numbers when it is often dark. The lockers need a spot light for us old folks who cant see so well. There were tables for observing, a snack bar, video games, crane games and air hockey. They had a birthday party corner. The skate room was decorated in Out of This World space theme with boy aliens on the left and girl aliens on the right. I loved the space dog floating next to the DJ booth. The floor was very friction free. One son said it felt like ice. I could still see the line between the cement floor sections and that gave mee a little worry about the smooth floor but my other son on inline skates had a blast skating past. He had got so much speed on this slippery floor. A game of limbo was played. Non limbo players were allowed to skate on the other half of the rink. Sakate Mania on the whole was a decent place to bring my kids. I'm so happy it is here."
