"I wouldn’t recommend this shelter after with holding information from Courtney and purposely treating her like nothing when she was in search of her dog Jax. Not only that but also transporting her stolen dog and being involved. Shame on you!"
"This is a kill shelter, if not adopted within 17 days they kill them instead of working with other organizations to save a life. Do not take animals here."
"This shelter is deliberately withholding information about a dog from a verifiable owner. The dog got out of a fence while the owner was hospitalized. The owner found out the dog was brought to this shelter and the shelter is denying giving her any information. They will only say the placed the dog “Jax” and is making no attempts to reunite the dog with its rightful owner. Shame on this shelter there are so many dumped and abandoned dogs and it’s un fathomable that when an owner is trying to reclaim a dog they are not only actively helping, but actively blocking the owner from locating a dog they have loved and cared for for five years."
"This guy came up to the house, I let him hang out for a few weeks outside the fence to get to know him. I gave him to the shelter to check for an owner and there was none. They released him to me after implanting a microchip and a neuter. It's been a couple of weeks now and the surgery has healed well. I am very grateful for Chris and the other personnel who took special care of him, and had patience with me. We call him Hank, and we love him."
"Very good shelter. Animals are well taken care of and loved. Adoption prices are amazingly low for the service being provided. We paid $10, as I recall, to adopt a cat that had been spade and chipped! Also, the facility is quite clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to look for your next cat or dog."
