The University of Arkansas System, located in De Queen, Arkansas, is a leading institution driving economic, educational, and cultural advancement in the state. Students from all across the system have the opportunity to apply for mini-grants through an endowment honoring James L. “Skip” Rutherford III, former dean of the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. These grants, up to $1,000, can be used for various expenses such as technology, conference registration, research, travel, and more. The endowment has been awarding grants for three years now, with applications open every spring. Additionally, the UA System has an Internal Audit Fraud Hotline for reporting any issues.
