"Mike and Eric are both fantastic. I'm a middle aged adult male who grew up on the east coast rollerblading, and have never played hockey or stepped onto the ice in skates. Mike helped me pick out a pair of skates and made sure they fit right and were comfortable. He helped me pick out a pair of great skates and managed to come in under my budget on them. Eric helped me re-lace my skates with waxed laces, and helped me understand how to tie them so they were loose where they should be, and tight where they need to be. Mike has also helped me pick out a helmet and other accesories that I needed to join a friend in a league for 40 year olds who are out of shape. Both Mike and Eric have a great passion for the sport. Their enthusiasm, and willingness to help out an older guy just getting into the sport has been incredibly inspiring and I look forward to every trip I make to Pure Hockey."

"Very helpful staff, they don't just ask what you need and point. They walk you over, help with fitment and answer any questions. They were very helpful getting a pair of kids skates which were only 60 bucks. For them to spend that kind of time on a not very expensive purchase shows how great the customer service really is."
"Unfortunately they decided to get rid of their shooting area. They no longer allow you to try a stick before you buy it! With the prices and amount of options on sticks this completely baffles me. There is no way I'm spending $200 (on a youth stick) without letting him try it to decide the flex/curve/kick point he wants. Good news is Dave's still has a shooting room, a little further drive but well worth it."
