"*** Buzz has moved his Barber Shop to Salon 10 in Blaine. He has the same hours but new location, just walk in he is the second chair on the left. *** Buzz is an awesome guy and an even better barber. I highly recommend him to anyone. Buzz has been in business for 52 years and hasn't changed a thing because he doesn't have to. 15 bucks a haircut, good conversation and a great cut. Same haircut every time, never need to worry about a new stylist cutting my hair differently. Highly recommend."

"I would like to make a case for things that have been around for a long long time in exactly the same way they've always been. I want to make a case for the last of those things, since the vast majority of them are lost. Buzz is a Barber in a Barber Shop hole in the wall, Buzz is going into his 55th year in this hole. Buzz comes from New Ulm. But he has been cutting heads since before I was born here in fridley. A cut will cost you 13. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but fair for about 20 minutes for a flat top. Buzz does not dally. Come as a group and taste a lost place, relax and talk about whatever, that is what waiting your turn and getting a haircut is really about. The last of an era, slowly wiped out by the factory national Barber shops and the fancy botique salons. Two places where I don't have much to talk about. It's just not the same. Next time I go for a cut I will add some photos. Tell Buzz that Lion Dave sent you, so he knows he has support from those who are intimately aware of what we are losing when Buzz is finally gone."

"Buzz is a down to earth guy. It's not the most appealing atmosphere because he has never remodeled but I don't go there for that. He cuts my hair fine everytime and I love that he knows who I am and is good to talk to."

"Buzz is a nice enough guy. But this is a place where the "Old timers" go to hang out. Buzz himself is not a very good barber and pretty much only knows how to do one or two types of styles..He'd fit in great as a military barber, but that's about it. Again. I'm not knocking him as a person, it's just his ability to cut hair is extremely limited. He doesn't know how to use scissors so he just uses an electric buzzer on everyone. If you're looking for an actual barber, this isn't the place for you."

"I love Buzz. He has cut my brothers' hair for 50 years, my son's first haircut almost 30 years ago, and YESTERDAY, my 1 1/ year old grandson's first haircut! My daughter had tried getting her son's first haircut at a "salon". It didn't happen. Buzz had my daughter sit in the chair, holding her son, against her, and, masterfully, managed to give the little boy an amazing "little boy" haircut!! KGJ"
