"I thought this place was a great place at first well I did for the first four years I've been going there anyway, till today. Last week I had a very serious family problem and couldn't reschedule my appointment my original appointment was supposed be on the 22nd today is the 5th I called as soon as I could raise up the money to make the appointment and then I was told there was a $40 rescheduling fee added to my account. Like if they knew the hell I had to go through to raise up the initial $240 to go in the first place especially raising a family of five I'm in between jobs too. Then I tried to explain the situation I needed to get in asap I've been without my medicine for a week she didn't care she said the soonest I can get u in is in four days. I know there are cheaper places , more compassionate places out there. After four almost five years of coming to this place I think I'm gonna look to go somewhere else. I was always told it's just about the money there I guess those ppl were right I mean they charge u extra money for anything and everything park in the wrong place see what'll happen. I'm just really disappointed in you Stockton money Group."
"I can't say enough good things about the people here. They actually care about your sobriety. And they don't stop there.Whatever problem you're having they'll go above and beyond to help with the situation and also help you feel better. They helped save my life. And I'll be forever grateful to them all.❤"
"My name is Casey Green and I just love my Dr and the ladies in the office here. Including Sam in group. I guess the people saying they are rude must have been rude to them first because they have always been kind and very understanding to me. I've been going there almost 5 years and they probably saved my life and I thank them so much for the help they have given and are still giving me. A lil pricey but each Dr. Can only have a certain amount of patients so they have to charge enough to make it worth doing without losing money!!!"
"I will spare the details but please keep your loved ones away! The people at this clinic in NLR are rude and downgrading to their customers. They have no compassion for anyone. They are just working for their next check!"
"After moving 5 years since my first visit and 3 years since leaving this review I'm now in Phoenix and understand just how badly CATAR Clinic is just a pill mill for Suboxone/methadone. I’m not just throwing out claims with no data. Read my previous and future cost analysis based on current/past bills. You'll be told lies like 'You'll have to take Suboxone for life' and when they know you're broke they won't even offer to switch from Suboxone to Subutex, even though 'falling off the wagon' was never a concern, I didn't hit 'rock bottom' to go there, I just wanted to stop, and once the physical withdrawals were gone I researched this. the drug I'm now addicted to is MUCH more dangerous, addictive and harder to get off than the drug I was originally addicted to that wasn't even narcotic. Whatever the case, I was forced to come in every 30 days (for the entire 7 years), prescribed doses of Suboxone that are jaw dropping, and every doctor I've seen since is stunned when I tell them I was prescribed 32mg per day. When I moved, my new doctor moved me to half that the first month. But I went a step further and cut even more of that. So I went from taking 32mg per day (4 8mg sublingual tablets) to taking 1. 75% reduction, not a single hint of withdrawal, and my 'fuzziness' went away in a month. I've seen massive improvement in cognitive awareness and overall better feelings/mood. I've read since then, and read firsthand accounts, of people that were in my situation that cut back to 2mg per day. I started quartering my pills and I'm quite sure I could do this. I don't only because of the fear of withdrawal but I'm sure it's coming now the worst part. CATAR started increasing in price by $20 per MONTH. when I left, I was paying $260 per month and I couldn't even get the doctor (I won't name him) to prescribe me non-narcotic metformin for my diagnosed diabetes. When I first started, it was $220 so my cost increased per year @ $420 overall He told me not only was he not 'allowed' to prescribe anything other than Suboxone, when I asked him about being limited to 100 clients he laughed and said he was far beyond that (i understand this is either a rule, or a law. regardless this is a severe breach) So you're forced to return paying $240 per month or close to $2900 per year. you cannot get more than a 30-day supply. the doctor I visit now? I had to come in, pay a $300 fee for the initial visit, (because they draw and process the bloodwork). I had to return in 1 week after the first visit (visits after the first are $120, or 50% cheaper). Then I went 30 days. once I got there I was moved to once every 90 days (if I don't fail screens which I haven't in 7 years). Let’s do some math here; CATAR Clinic/Stockton Medical Group: I don't remember my first visit cost, but let's assume that it was no more than any other month. This is very likely less than actual, but let’s be generous. $240 x 12 = $2880 x 7 years is $20,160. New Doctor: initial visit 300 1 week later 120 30 days 120 90 days 120 year 1. $960 year 2 $480 1 visit every 90 days @ $120 m for 12 months. Future years $480 Other meds needed (no additional cost) $480 x 7 years: $3800 That's right folks. over 7 years I paid just over SIXTEEN THOUSAND MORE at Catar who refused to help me with non-narcotic, regular maintenance meds for diabetes. Overall difference? EIGHTY TWO PERCENT cheaper now. and that doesn't even consider the lower cost of massive reduction in dose. I'm betting it would be double or more on meds alone. Now figure that I could not get my necessary prescriptions for diabetes there either? means I had to have another doctor. But I think I've shown even ignoring that it's ABSURD how much CATAR Clinic/Stockton Medical Group costs. (I think the name changed. it was originally Stockton Medical Group but pricing and doctors stayed the same when the name changed) They care nothing about overall health, and care ONLY about getting you in and out (most visits wait time 1 hr, visit less than 4 minutes) and charging you. You will get NO help for anything else."
