"Daughter got a positive UTI on the 9th of Jan. I take her on the 30th of Jan to get on birth control. Do they tell me anything...no. keep in mind she isn't 17, she is 12. Instead i get a letter that says "other" no info except to call the clinic. My husband calls, gets told she is positive for a UTI. Meanwhile im waiting 2 weeks for a referral to get her birth control implanted. I finally go to the clinic and and ask if we are going to get antibiotices... they say "oh, well she didnt come in with symptom so..." ok, so if ur a symptomatic we dont treat the problem. Thank god she doesn't have syphilis, "oh well she wasnt symptomatic...". Needless to say, we dropped them as a provider that day. My daughter comlained that her pee had been stinging and if i had known she had a UTI, I wouldve gotten it treated BEFORE it was symptomatic..."
"i called about scheduling an appointment, the lady on the phone for about 10 minutes was sounding like she was moaning saying “okayyy” in a very uncomfortable way. all of the sudden she fine voice is fine back to normal?. i had an appointment at 8:15 i sat in the lobby till 9am with 4 people who came in after me 2 with appt 2 without. they treat this like it’s an emergency room, very poor unprofessional service. let see how long it takes for someone to come in and help me"
"Doctor thinks they know your body more than you and want to cut you off while trying to explain things. Doctors Should listen to their patients and their pain, but dismiss you then say “we’re done, the doors right there” when you don’t let them cut you off. Ridiculous."
"I didn't want to give 1 star! I'm a diagnosed agoraphobic. I called before I went to see if I could have a teleappointment. I was informed that the "doctor", Whitney doesn't offer that option, although Jacksonville arcare does. I went to my appt. However, I had the MOST awful experience!! I was waiting 15 minutes, just to be called back. I was crying and in the moment of having a panic attack! My BP was extremely high. 3 numbers on top and bottom!!! I was clearly and visibly shook up and it was obvious I was having a panic attack to the nurse. I was told that it could take just a few minutes for the Dr to be in. While waiting I could hear the nurses and dr laughing. I waited for 15-20 minutes with NO one coming to check on me, OR anything! The Dr NEVER showed! I left after 20 minutes. I found a male nurse in the hallway and asked where the exit was. I told him, "I have to leave, I have to leave"!!!!! This appointment was yesterday. (Stupidly) I thought, well, surely the nurse or Dr would call me, to check up on me. That's NOT happened! You know, we, as patients, come to the Drs when we need assistance and to be treated like this has got me so disturbed. It's made me lose faith in humanity. I also have PTSD. This experience has confirmed, in my head, that even if you have diagnosis such as I, Drs and nurses could care less! People who should be in a career to help people has let us down, time and time again. Truly they should get another profession because as care givers they suck! I could only imagine if I were a child or elderly person. I'm VERY disappointed in arcare89. TBH, this experience has ruined my life. Sadly, the people involved will NOT get disciplined! They do not CARE, nor will they change. I'm sure after reading my review, I'll get a generic response. But that'll be all. Please do NOT come here, especially if you have medical issues that nurses and Drs, are unable to understand or know how to treat! **It's been a week since this incident and still NO response to how I've been treated. Please do NOT come here!"
"I took my daughter in there for a physical for school athletics. Something pretty simple. Yet, they can’t do something as simple as make sure they have the correct date on the form so that it doesn’t appear to be years old instead of the two weeks old that it actually was done in. Before that, I took her in to get a referral for a dermatologist because she had a rash that turned out to be a skin condition. That took over a month. When I went in for an appointment for a referral for my eye, that an ER doctor told me I needed to see an eye doctor for ASAP, it took them SIX weeks to send a referral over. I fortunately did not go blind in that time frame but that was a potential risk. Not to mention you never see the same doctor/APN more than two or three time so it’s like changing doctors every time you go in. I wish more clinics took my insurance because I sure wouldn’t go here if they did."
