"Dr. Ivanjo Aldea met me when I was 15 years old and struggling in school due to mental health concerns. He quickly built rapport, helping me feel comfortable and heard. Even though I was a minor, he included me in the conversations and made me feel like he actually cared (because he did). I have seen Dr. Aldea for a total of 9 years now and I do not think I would be successful without him. He has managed my medications, been present and involved medically from High School to completing Graduate School, and has always instilled in me the belief that mental illness does not dictate my life. Dr. Aldea believed in me before I believed in myself or had faith in the world in general. He is an excellent doctor, discussing every option he is comfortable taking with you medication wise in order to make the health care plan your choice. He literally saved my life and without him today I would not be successful. I went from crying every day, drowning in negative thoughts, and depending primarily on a caregiver to thriving as a young professional moving out of state by myself. If you need a psychiatrist in Arkansas, he is hands down the best option. Thank you for all the lives you continue to save Dr. Aldea!"
