"Dr. Bollen always seems to take time to truly talk about the issues/illness I'm having. He's real, he doesn't try and sugarcoat the situation and I think that's why he seems so easy to talk to in my opinion. I've always felt very confident in the care I've received."

"I was visiting from out of state and injured my hand. Before going to the emergency room I called my insurance carrier to confirm the hospital was in network which they were. Dr Bollen was my attending and he was wonderful. My issue is I received an invoice for full amount due for his emergency room services after I received EOB from my insurance indicating my amount owed would be approximately half of the billed amount. When I called Aetna to find out what was going on they explained to me that yes, Dr Bollen is in network as is the hospital....HOWEVER, Dr Bollen belongs to a group of emergency physicians and this group is OUT OF NETWORK which allows them to balance bill the patient after insurance has processed the claim. I find this practice to be absolutely vulgar and deceptive."
