"I've had the WORST care in CHI ..ER. Doctors and services don't deserve a 1 star. No one came in for one shot for over 5 hours. And, being released after 8 hrs..Dr. didn't call in the full RX? Now, it's Sunday, So, I called back and ER doctor hung up on me. Unexplainable Services!!! Sure wanted their payment tho"

"Although I didn’t feel like the visit to the ER was necessary for my daughter, having extreme tonsillitis, we were referred there by urgent care to get a CT scan to make sure her airway wasn’t getting too blocked and that there wasn’t an abscess. I wanted to come by and leave a review to make sure that an ER nurse was given some recognition. Her name is Cheyenne. She was incredibly personable and funny. If we had more Cheyennes to talk to at healthcare facilities The world would be a better place! I know this is a tough industry. I have a lot of friends in it. As a mom and just want the nurses like Cheyenne to know that we appreciate healthcare workers like you."

"I thought the emergency room where i’m from back in texas was bad. I had been up since 3 with severe pain and they only way with it being thanksgiving was go the er… This about the rudest uncaring hospital I have been to.. I have never had nurse or who ever he was ask me if i was just being dramatic about me having a UTI and why did i used the emergency room and not go to my pcp. Umm well with it being thanksgiving everything closed i thought it would be faster to go see y’all. Wow the people here are extremely uncaring and not sympathetic at all.. also Yeah I wanted to be up all night and spend my thanksgiving morning with y’all not.. I WILL NOT BE BACK y’all should get more caring co workers that dose not make their patience feel like a burden or they are being dramatic i waited three days go to the er and I guess i should have just waited until my appointment on Monday…."

"Several days ago, I drove my boyfriend to CHI St Vincent ER because he had chest pains. He was given ECG, bloodwork and a chest xRay. After about an hour and a half, my boyfriend was given a room in the ER. The nurse told us that all of the tests, bloodwork and xRay were all normal, no heart attack and that was probably just a muscle pull, not serious. He said that the Doctor would see him shortly. We waited another hour, no Doctor saw him. We very disappointed with the slowness. All if the rooms in ER were full, waiting room filled. Horrible situation."

"My 6 year old son cut his finger almost completely off, came to emergency room with finger just dangling by skin, my son in extreme pain and when we get here they put a band-aid it and send us to w acting room that is cram packed with folks, I'm sorry but finger just hanging by a thread should be taken back immediately especially on a child. Update: have been here over 2 hours and still they have not seen my son. Update: After a little over 3 hours of waiting finally called to the back to be put in a room. Still waiting for a Dr to see him though."
