"Takes an act of Congress to get any help at this place. Especially in the garden center or if you need something loaded with forklift. Finally Got help to get battery charger combo from inside locked cabinet, only to find out it rang up $50 more than it was tagged and they wouldn’t honor price. I only go here when I absolutely have to because the part isn’t anywhere else in town."

"We went into the store to purchase a weed eater and Silas, the assistant manager, was so helpful and even gave us a discount. He took the item to the front while we continued shopping and another employee stopped us and told us that they were the front end supervisor and that the item was at the checkout when we were ready to go. When we went to check out that’s when the experience went south. Our cashier, Marquevia Holmes, was extremely rude and unhelpful. She kept mumbling and refused to call anybody to determine where the weed eater was because, if it had be brought up, “it should be right here”. She just stood there and said she’s “not a morning person” while we asked multiple employees if they knew where the item was. I finally asked if she would do an all call for Silas and she refused and said “that won’t make it get here any faster”. I told her that it was already up here and she still refused to call so I asked another cashier to call and she stopped them and told them uI not to because she “got it” and I “had an attitude”. Ms Twila finally appeared at the front and was able to quickly help us."

"It’s too bad I can’t give a zero or negative star. We have spent THOUSANDS in this store since moving here 2 years ago, remodeling and updating our house. Yesterday I stopped by for a few pieces of shiplap, only needed five 8’ boards to finish the project. Walking to the aisle I met a worker carting it all away. Going to cut it up, they were no longer going to be selling it. Could I buy the 5 I needed? Absolutely not. Got the manager and half the store help gathered up to say it cannot be done. It still shows as available on the website but they refused. “Bad timing on your part” I was told. I could understand if I had been asking them to order something they no longer carried. But their worker was busy cutting up with a saw and putting it in the compactor the items I needed. Great example of why we should shop local and not big box stores. What store owner would do that? Closing my HD Pro account today."

"Home Depot in El Dorado, Arkansas has horrible customer service. I went in Saturday looking for a vacuum. Found one I wanted but the box had been opened and I wasn't sure if all the parts were there. I asked employee if there were any more in stock. He checked, said "no" and walked off. No offers to help or anything. Found one I wanted and went to check-out, girl on phone and absolutely no interaction from her. No "thank you" or anything. Horrible customer service."

"I went in for a gallon of paint. I sat at the paint counter for over 10 minutes with no one at all there or anywhere around to help. When I finally got someone to come help me with what I wanted, the gentleman had no idea what he was doing. He was unable to find a booklet with the colors to mix the paint. He was unable to find anything in the computer that was needed. He finally, after about 15 minutes, called in help. The girl that came to help was able to find the color options in the computer, but they were very hard to see. After about 15 more minutes, she finally found the paint option booklet, and I was able to pick the color. It was an experience that should have never taken this long and wasted a lot of my time. I will say that both of the associates were very nice, and the guy who didn't know what he was doing did apologize several times."
