Reviews of Walser Collision & Glass
"Great place for my rear window glass repair. Within 18 hours of my call! Friendly and professional! Totally recommend!"
"The service was quick, polite, and thorough. They made working with my insurance extremely simple. The new windshield looks great and I will definitely return here for any future automotive glass repair!"
"(Quick version) The windshield is misaligned and EVERYTHING they took off to replace it was reinstalled incorrectly and/or poorly. They also took no responsibility. (Long version) I had a windshield replaced 2 months ago, I've been waiting to post this until I got all the replacement parts to fix their mistakes and see if there were any more issues to be found. I called beforehand to make sure they were using oem parts as there are moldings and clips that can't be reused and the aftermarket ones fail or don't fit well, I was told oem parts would be used except for glass which was fine. The car was picked up and dropped off at work. The first thing I noticed was black handprints around the windshield. Driving home, the hood cowl was loose. Ordered new clips for the hood cowl as that's an easy fix and I can do it without the handprints. First rain I noticed the wipers were reinstalled in the wrong locations and hitting the roof. Before installing new clips, I watched an excellent glass replacement video on youtube(Alfredo's FJ). I quickly realized the cowl was installed over the weatherstripping and not tucked in the channel. Then I noticed the top molding wasn't flush with the windshield. Then I noticed the side weatherstripping was wonky and not used correctly and tucked under the pillar instead of over. Tried to reposition the sides but there is so much extra urethane along the window edge that will need to be removed before they actually fit correctly. Emailed the shop last week with all the issues stating it was unnaceptable. They called and said to bring it in. The only thing they saw wrong was the cowl over the weatherstripping and they asked if I was sure nobody else took it apart and put it back like that. They continued to look at me dumbfounded as I said they must be joking because every single thing was put back on wrong and it all looks awful. They said the upper molding is after market and they don't fit well and it's fine. I said it requires oem and they said insurance wouldn't pay for it. I said that it'll cause too much wind noise and eventually fly off, they said never because it's glued on.(It is not, I can slide it 1/2" side to side with little effort, so the glue isn't touching and there are probably broken clips.) Realizing they weren't going to take any responsibility and I was just getting more upset, I said I was going to go, because now I don't want them touching it all. They then said they can fix the cowl right now and I can't leave with it like that or any warranty is voided. I said that's pointless because it'll have to be redone when the side weatherstripping and top molding are replaced. Again they asked to fix the cowl and I said I don't want them touching it and asked for some tape as they removed the tape holding it on. 10 minutes later brought out the tape and asked to fix it again and I taped it and left. 3 or 4 times they stated FJ Cruisers are one of the most difficult windshield jobs, as if that makes it acceptable or an excuse for poor work. It was an hour of my time just to drive to the shop and back. I could've just emailed photos and be gaslit over the phone. Called my insurance when I got home and told them they didn't use the right parts and did a poor work, insurance called them and called me back saying they're willing to fix everything with the correct parts and they know my insurance will pay for it. At this point I'm not going to see what they do with correct oem parts. Today I have all the oem clips, weatherstripping and upper molding. Now confirmed the side weatherstripping they used isn't oem either. Took another really good look before I remove and install only to realize the windshield is about 1/8" closer to the pillar on the driver's side and the urethane is uneven so it's about an 1/8" higher in the upper corner. So now the new molding and weatherstripping will look wonky no matter what. Unsure what I'll do as I don't want to waste the new upper molding when it still won't look right, the molding alone is $200 and it can't be reused."
"I had high hopes for this auto repair shop, as they took good care of me throughout the process. However, I'm extremely disappointed with the craftsmanship. They had to repaint my bumper twice, and the color still doesn't match the body. I attached photos to show the shocking difference between the first and second attempts. It's been a real letdown.""
"Had my windshield replaced. The technician damaged my vehicle In the process and proceeded to lie about it. Called the manager and he chose to lie about it as well. Worst service I’ve ever had. Highly recommend choosing a different a route for your auto glass needs."
