"The barbecue was fantastic! My favorite meats were the pork belly and ribs. The mac&cheese was legendary, but the kimchi coleslaw was not what I hoped. They have a long list of free add-ons and sauces. It’s a great new place to check out in Bentonville."

"I had high hopes for this place. I’m a big believer in locally owned businesses and go out of my way to give them my patronage. I’ve waited several months for them to work their kinks out and finally tried them Tuesday evening. This place is an enigma to me. I showed up around 6:00 expecting to get a 2-meat plate and sides. Went to the bar and the server/bartender gave me a separate dinner menu. It turns out that to order the normal barbeque items you have to go into a separate but attached area. That was weird. So, I order/pay for my food and then pick it up when it’s ready and take it back to the bar where I had a local beer. I have to get the plastic utensils and napkins while dining inside the restaurant. I get the sliced brisket and pork belly with mashed potatoes/gravy and greens. The sliced brisket was very dry with no smoke/seasoning taste to it. I had heard great things about the brisket, so I was really disappointed. The pork belly was blah with no discernable smokiness/seasoning to it. I expected to at least be able to taste the smoky flavor in the fat of the meat, but it wasn't happening. There is an art to clean-smoke meat while still getting the smokiness and flavors of great bbq that the cook hasn’t mastered. The spicy barbeque sauce was great! The sides were the star of this show. The mashed potatoes weren’t what I was expecting but oh so creamy and yummy! The greens had the perfect amount of flavor and acidity that I love! The staff I interacted with were awesome! >Owners/managers: I really don’t get the vision of this place. What does the name, The Beach Bbq, mean to you? It doesn’t fit at all with the building, vibe, and décor. Maybe when the weather is nicer and you can eat on the patio, it would make sense? I just don’t see it. You need to figure out what kind of restaurant you’re going to be. When I see bbq in the name of the restaurant, I expect to see honest to God bbq. Anybody can smoke/grill a ribeye or a porkchop. I want to see excellence in the staples like brisket, ribs, and pork. It was a convoluted process trying to get what I wanted to eat. I hope you get this figured out. I’ll be back because I always give a local place a second chance. When I do, if I see changes necessary to good bbq, I’ll definitely rewrite this review."

"Had wanted to try here since it has opened just never made the time. So glad we did. Came in and were given samples of things to make sure we like them before ordering. Everything was phenomenal. Order when the "dealer chooses" idea and it is great. I will definitely be coming back. BBQ nachos are unique in their flavor. Burnt end wonderful. Best mashed potatoes and gravy I have ever had."

"Wonderful place to dine at!! They do have some local beverages to choose from. Inside seating was more than I expected. It did appear that there was some outside seating also. Tried the brisket with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes w/gravy. First time I've seen mashed potatoes at a BBQ place, well worth trying!!! It wasn't one of the instant tater taste, give it a try. Typically I reserve the Mac and cheese for my 8 year old, but I was very impressed with both sides. Remember to request pickled onions, complimentary."

"Food was good but get there early if you plan on getting burnt ends. I’m going to come back and try the burnt ends and wings and I will update my review. I got the BBQ Nachos and the Beach Corn. The nachos are very good and very filling and the corn was good as well but nothing special. My husband got a two meat platter. He chose brisket and pulled pork with Mac and cheese and potato salad (mustard). He was not a fan of the sides or the pulled pork but the brisket was very moist and flavorful. All around I can’t complain and will be back to try more. The staff was very friendly and helpful."
