"I brought my boat to Travis with the expectation of it just being better since I neglected the interior of my boat after each time we took it out on the water. It was full of mildew and mold spots. He blew me away with the job he did. I highly recommend one choice to anyone who needs some tlc on whatever they're needing fixed up."
"My experience with Travis at One Choice Detailing was horrendous. After the auto detailing was finished, the inside of my car looked okay, but definitely not worth paying $ 240, which was the price he charged because of excess surcharges. He claimed that my car was dirtier than the average car, but I had vacuumed it myself a few days before the job and had had the exterior cleaned at a Mitsubishi dealership 4 weeks prior. My car was definitely not dirtier than the average car. He also claimed there was a vomit substance on the floor which was a covid-19 biohazard that "put [his] life on the line," which on one hand was a bit theatrical, and on the other hand was not true since no-one had thrown up in my car. The price that was agreed on was $149.99 as base price but I was charged 176.00 base price. Then he added further up-charges of 48$ for additional cleaning. Nevertheless, Travis didn't mention a word about this and sent out the invoice without informing me about any of the surcharges. In my opinion Travis was not transparent and his game is to nickel and dime you to add up-charges to the price listed on the website. Even if your car is relatively clean, Travis will make sure to find something to bring up the cost, which in my case was a 90% increase versus the quoted price. The service was okay, but the fact there was no transparency, his unspoken up-charges, as well as the fact that he avoided to talk with me after the fact (he left my keys under a stone) have all led me to give him a failing grade on this review."
"I discovered One Choice Detailing because the company I normally use for detailing was booked for a few weeks, I called Travis at One Choice Detailing and found out that he had an open appointment the next day that he could slide me into and his team would come to me to detail my truck so it was a win win. Travis's team showed up on time and went right to work after a friendly greeting. One Choice Detailing turned my dirty work truck into a like new clean interior. I appreciate Travis and his Team and One Choice Detailing will be my first choice going forward"
"I've been going to Travis for about 6-7 years now. When I met him he was a single person business. He does really good work when he details your car. I've have gone back to Travis for my car washes and detailing. I still want to continue giving him business but his communication has gone down hill as time goes on. He doesn't return your calls, texts or emails in a timely manner. It can take a few hours or days to get a reply. Many occasions no reply back at all! And it always seems to be something(sick, vacation, no cell coverage, etc)why he didn't return my calls or email. I’ve have even told this to him several months back and he said he will 'note' it. His communication and customer service skills is his weak point and I hope it improves. Even my father told this to me about Travis. This past summer I had him shampoo my carpet. Noticed a stain after the job on the back carpet. He said he tried several chemicals with no luck and will try again when he can get me into his schedule in the next few days. Went to Paradise few days later and they removed the stain for like $10 with no problem. I hate giving a negative review but I wish he would really think about his communication and customer service skills and improve it. Customer service is always #1 when running a business. For example: I emailed him 9 days ago. Still no reply."
"I used one choice detailing a couple years ago and got Travis, who did a phenomenal job on an Altima I was selling. Since he did a wonderful job, I decided to have my Jeep detailed last month. They sent a new employee to my home with their mobile vehicle at no cost, which I was initially very excited about. He was a nice young kid, very polite. However the detailing was not a thorough job at all. I do have 2 dogs that ride in my Jeep and a baby, so I'm sure it was a hard task. However, much of the dog hair was still present after the detail, the seats and cup holders were still dirty, and the inside of the windows weren't cleaned at all. The windshield still had the grimy/dusty buildup after the detail was complete. I should have checked the vehicle over while the employee was still present and asked him to more thoroughly clean it. I did email Travis with photos of the still dirty seats, cup holders, dog hair, etc, and asked for the pet hair fee to be removed since it wasn't done. Travis replied saying he's sorry to hear, and that the employee is "3 weeks new to the team so it looks like he needs to pay a bit more attention to the quality of work" and that the employee "wasn't feeling well that day so that may have played a role". Travis did deduct the pet hair fee, but no offer to finish cleaning the vehicle, and I was still billed the full detailing price (minus the dog hair fee). I feel bad since the young kid was very nice and I don't want to cause him any trouble, but am still frustrated I received a very subpar auto detail. I won't be using the company again unfortunately."
