"So I'm updating my experience with Dr Tompkins so a couple days ago I had to go to Mercy hospital ER after 6 hours of sitting there and agonizing pain and being ignored and they did a ct and blood work like in the first 10 minutes they told me I wasn't important to see enough cuz there's other people more important and I saw a lot of people coming after me and I just sat there crying an agonizing pain I went home after 6 hours of this because they weren't going to do anything so call Dr Tompkins off they got me in pretty quick the next day and Dr Tomlin took one look at my CT and said we needed to get your urinologist because you need something something's going on went to urinologist and now I'm waiting on surgery if it wasn't for Dr Tom can I be still suffering and pain and keep running to the ER that keeps telling me there's nothing wrong with me."

"Don't, I repeat, DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR if you are serious and care about your health. My husband had a spot on his face that I continually asked and addressed asking/begging the doctor to check it out! I was concerned. He(Tompkins) said he wasn't concerned about it! Well he should've been, because it is cancer! We are about to start a lawsuit at this point. It continued to grow and change, and he(Tompkins) just continually acted like nothing was wrong and it was FINE!!! Disgusting! Also, he is OBVIOUSLY on something because he will nod off while you're IN THE ROOM WITH HIM!! You have to shuffle or make nose to make him wake up/come to. That's plan ridiculous!!! He has been reported to the medical board for this same thing, and we are filing a complaint. ALSO, if you have any tests run, good luck getting the results... I had a spot cut off my arm, and for 6 months every month I asked him the results. He couldn't find them in my chart. I mean I guess that could be the nursing staff, but after not being able to find it, wouldn't you think the doctor would all his staff to find it? What if it were cancer he cut off and because "HE COULDN'T FIND IT/IT WASN'T IN MY CHART" I never got results and in turn never got treatment for it. Not good! If you're a female, make sure you take someone back with you, or ask if the nurse to stay in the room. He tries to touch you in inappropriate areas. Areas that you haven't even complained about! I'm a HAPPILY married woman, and I have NO desire to have any man other than my husband to touch me in certain areas. He made comments about needing a pelvic exam, and I about ran out of the room. There is absolutely NO WAY I would allow him to do that to me! Lastly, I AM a Christian, and at first I was happy to have a doctor that would pray with me, but when he stands behind the Lord and the Bible, but then he acts like he's not walking the walk with the Lord then that is a hypocrite and very hypocritical. 2 Timothy 3:13 Evil people and pretenders will go from bad to worse. They will fool others, and others will fool them. The way I see believers/belief is all about spirituality, healthy or toxic spirituality!!! Toxic spirituality is all about rules, dogma, and judgment. It creates separation and division. Healthy spirituality is about connection, love, and compassion. "Doc,not sure if you will ever get notice of this,but I do appreciate the kindness and prayer for me,but since my last ordeal in your office ,gotta ask you, what went wrong. I did everything you told me to do,but yet,even after over a month after my torn rotator cuff surgery, why am I still in pain..why didn't you just listen to Dr.Arnold?You were very judgemental. I hope you feel good about yourself. And as for your nurse,once in a while she should at least return a phone call when it's needed. Take care"

"A true holistic physician. He listens and is genuinely concerned about his patients. He is friendly, an excellent bedside manner. He will pray with you. Dr Tompkins is very smart and has caught issues earlier than any other doctor I have been to. He encourages skin care screenings for skin cancer. He has treated me for over 15 years."
