"Brought my 1999 VW bug in, on my sisters recommendation, I had gone to a couple other shops, so I knew what was going on more or less. Tony was, honestly, just jerk. Called my VW bug a "roach motel" and quoted me $1500 to fix a sensor (at least he got that part right). Told me it was too old and not worth fixing, lady at the counter said it was just "tired" Went to a different shop, got it fixed for $600. Runs great. If you want to criticize a dirty car (which it is pretty dirty, I'll admit) maybe work on that rainbow river of oil/gas running out of your garage and into the sewer. Also I went to get the keys and they were just in a big unlabeled pile of random keys, I had to point out which ones were mine. Idk, grossly overestimated cost of the repairs, unorganized and dirty shop, plus insulting over the phone."

"Tony Carpenter is very nice and through in his work. I went to him for electronic issues with my f150 which dealers asked for a ton of money to diagnose and fix...he did it in half the price and half the time. He also found couple of more issues that I did not report to him on the electronic side and took care of it while he is working and now the vehicle runs like it is supposed to be. I highly recommend him and his garage for any work on any type of vehicle."

"I took my sad '95 escort here a week ago to have them look at the brakes (they were making an ominous grinding noise). They looked and quoted me a very fair price to replace the rotors and brake pads. Then things took a nasty turn while they were trying to do the repair, and they discovered everything was seized up due to rust... Hours of labor later, they were fixed, and while I paid more than the initial quote, I know for a fact that they could've charged more. If I'd taken my car to anywhere else, the total cost of the labor + parts would've been more than I paid for my little beater in the first place. Will this kind of discount be the case for every repair? No. But will Tisdel's be trustworthy and fair? You betcha! I'd recommend this place to anyone."
