"I've never had a issue with Lowe's until today. I went into the store needing a specific light bulb. Should be simple right? I couldn't find what i needed so I asked for help. After the 4th employee told me it wasn't their department and walked away, I was near tears because they were just so rude. Finally one amazing employee,in the paint department, offered to help me. I hope lowes of hot springs knows she is the only positive thing about their store."
"This company has the worst customer service that I have never experienced; specifically their Hot Springs location. We ordered a refrigerator that took 3 months to be delivered and when it was delivered, it did not have the hoses or ice maker in the order. We did pay for all items. What’s more, their home and garden area is lacking in quality care and quality management. Home Depot is the place to do business."
"I shop lowes alot. However, I am always disappointed with customer service and when you do find someone you just about have to tackle them down for assistance. Home depot has far better customer service...only reason why I keep coming back to lowes this they seem to have more merchandise."
"No knock against the employees. It’s a grim job in a grim place, and they are provided the most diluted, deranged and dysfunctional internal management system of any modern corporation. The manager himself is very unpleasant, dismissive and rude, and when my wife calls somebody rude, you can bet they deserve the title, and ithis rude manager is not included in my favorable assessment of Lowe’s employees. As for the experience, outside of conversing with hard working and friendly workers, this simple appliance purchase was hands down the most agonizing consumer experience of my entire life. I will describe it in detail, and few will believe it’s not embellished, but this is 100% true and accurate. YOUR’E NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS. On the 19th of the month, I walk in the store, select a washer and dryer, and proceeded to inquire availability and delivery options. I was told I should order online, that way I would get a sooner delivery and installation date. I placed the order online while still in the store. The system showed me a successful purchase of the washer and dryer and all other collateral components needed for their installation. Also received a definitive delivery date for the 2nd of the coming month. that was a lot longer than I wanted to wait but it was worth it to have Lowe’s professional installation and the manufactures warranty would be covered. I received a text soon thereafter mentioning that some of the collateral products on the order would be ready for pick up. I didn’t really want to pick them up. I thought it would be easier if they would just come with the washer dryer units, then I noticed the pickup location was a town in west texas. So I called customer service and told them the issue and although it took a lot longer than I expected on the phone, the agent said it was corrected Lowes customer phone service consists of an obnoxiously, distorted music that varies greatly in volume so you have to either listen to the extremely loud and extremely distorted“music” or take a chance in missing the agent when they answer. so that wasn’t pleasant but no biggie. The next day I received a text that mentioned the same products were ready for pick up only this time it was from a town in Texas 275 miles away. so I called customer support again and went through the entire thing again to correct it. The next day I received another text that stated if I did not pick up the items by business clothes that day they would be refunded it was a Sunday and customer support was closed , the store that they wanted me to pick up the items from was 275 miles away. Monday I called customer support again and I explained the issue I was on the phone for over 90 minutes during this time I requested to speak with a supervisor several times, and was refused. Eventually, the order was worked out by removing and refunding some of the items and requesting me to enter my card number again for the purchase each time I paid for tax, and was never refunded for tax if I looked up an order number, it depended on what order number I looked up whether it was one of the original items or one of the items that had to be removed and then replaced and repurchased So the order was set to arrive on the second of the month, and when that day came only the washer arrived by the way, I had to go to the Hot Spring store to pick up the items which I did the day before. Called customer service; said that the washing machine was coming from a town in Texas that was 275 miles away but they said it would be there by 8 PM instead of by noon which was originally scheduled, so I told them OK I’ll take the dryer, the team installed it. I waited until 8 o’clock and I never got a text and the delivery never came for the washer. I called customer support the next day and I was on the phone for 90 minutes and they said they would have to call me back. Story short: Failed to show on next scheduled delivery, had to go pickup. Didn’t work, replaced it with an inferior cheaper model and didn’t tell me or credit me. Out of characters, not saga."
"They say they need more people working there so I applied. I had an interview waited close to 45 minutes for them to interview me. Interview seemed to go well but never got a call back. Clearly don’t need people that bad. If you’re expecting to get a job here don’t waste your time."
