Patron Mexican Grill

"Went our first time yesterday with my dad (after seeing so many good reviews) to try it out. It started out great as I would rank the chips and salsa here as some of the best in Conway. I love fresh the salsa (as opposed to the cooked stuff), and was excited to taste cumin. We just knew the jackpot was struck. Given this great beginning, we could not wait for the specials to be served (i had the garlic shrimp and dad dad the panco, i think). Sadly, it seemed, at least to us, all of the flavor was in the salsa. Granted, the food was fresh, but it was about as plain of a meal as we've had in awhile. My 80 year old dad just kept saying, "it doesn't have any mexican flavor", and I had to agree. Also, I do realize the price of things has gone up since covid, but the price for "luch" I thought was a bit on the steep side. I realize that different people have different tastes, and for those who really enjoy this place, I say please continue to support this fine establishment. But, for this guy, who comes from the heart of cajun country, it left me wanting."

"Family gathering to celebrate my granddaughters college graduation! They handled our group of 14,along with another large group, in a timely manner. Food served quickly and efficiently. Only negative that I can say is that there were too much bell pepper in the fajitas."

"Been a couple of times. Never impressed with the food. So we've waited a couple of years to return. It's the same. We got the Especial fajitas. Serving size was 6/10. Taste was 2/10. No flavor. Service was 7/10. Waiter didn't speak good English, but we got by. Cleanliness is 9/10. This was the 1st time we ordered a drink. Got the frozen margarita. It was yucky. Had a very odd taste, like it machine was dirty & they accidentally added pineapple juice. We will return & get a margarita on ice to see if it was the machine or what. Not impressed with the happy hour specials, although they do have happy hour all day on Saturday, which is nice."
