"I've bought a few bikes for around $1,500 after tax, put a few hours of work cleaning the carbs and then I'm set to go. I've been able to put thousands of miles on them over the years. Also was able to poke around the yard and find a new in the box set of exhaust that was discontinued in 2004 in the trailers that fit one of my bikes, $150 I got them. Later found the same set used online for $325 with a good amount or wear on them. I've found the old metal turn signal housings with glass lenses for significantly less than the online prices."
