"Initial visit was excellent. Dr. Aguilar was very detailed, informative, and answered any questions I had. Since then, follow-up scheduling has been a nightmare. They cancelled my 3 week later follow-up due to an emergency. I can understand this. The appt scheduler, however, couldn't "fit me in" until after the new year. I was not happy about this, as this is another 3 weeks and after my deductible resets. I sent a message, via mercy's system, to see if i could be fit in. Dr. Aguilar's office made an exception and said I could be fit in the next day. That would seem excellent, except they didn't call, text, or confirm in any way whether or not I received that message. Still, they cancelled my Jan 2 appt, and set up that next day appt. I didn't see that message until well after that appt, and nowhere was the Jan 2 cancellation noted. I didn't receive a call until Monday, 3 days before my Jan 2 appt., that I would need to reschedule this appt. I inquired about why my Jan. 2 appt was cancelled, she said Doc is out of town(why would you schedule me there then in the first place? Also, when they rescheduled to this day, they said Doc cancelled a surgery day to fit people in.). She then tells me the earliest they can fit me in is February. Messaged them about this, no answer back. I cancelled my appt. They will not get another cent from me. My advice, go elsewhere, unless you don't mind your appt being repeatedly kicked down the road when you are trying to follow-up on a time sensitive issue. It's sad, as the Doc was wonderful. His scheduler office staff, however, is terrible."
