"I got a curly cut yesterday and I'm very pleased with my results. I seen Amanda who is a junior stylist and I still felt she did great and knew what she was doing. I seen a deva cut stylist for years then moved and seen many regular stylists. They just aren't trained to deal with thick and textured hair like these guys. I highly recommend this place. It's so nice to have my bouncey locks back again."

"Had a cut scheduled today and stylist was running behind. I completely understand these things happen but not once did she come over, acknowledge being late, tell me when she'll be done, etc. So I just left after waiting 35 mins past appointment time. $150 for a hair cut is insanity to not display any customer service."

"Curly cut came out amazing. I just wish she listened when I said no product in my hair since I don't use pruduct. It felt synthetic and sticky. Three washes later and it feels normal. And... It curls exactly the same without product. The environment isn't the same as the maple Grove location, unfortunately and lacks the ambiance for the price of $150 cut. Also lacking in respect I guess? The workers were bad mouthing the owner, talking about how they're unhappy and going to be starting their own space since they're independent. Many people have spoken to the vibes of the place it's true. It makes you uncomfortable. Unhappy people. Definitely not the same as my first cut at maple Grove. I likely won't be back."

"Kristy did my hair at the St Paul location today. I had a cut and color and both turned out fabulous. I’m very pleased with the quality and expertise she offered. One of the better (if not best) cut and color I’ve ever had. I had been thinking about coming to Uptown Curl for awhile, and my only regret is not trying them sooner! Well worth it. It’s day one of my new hair and I’ve already received compliments. If you have curtly or wavy hair, and especially if you want color, I’d recommend Kristy!"
