"Horrible experience with Dr. Haase. My 8 year old needed a lot of work done and although she wasn’t our regular dentist at the clinic, we were referred to her based on her being good with treating children. This could not have been further from the truth. After his first treatment, where he had a tooth extracted, he became incredibly fearful of further treatment. He then was a difficult patient, which made treatment difficult. During our third visit, she essentially fired us in the middle of treatment, gave us a prescription and a phone number for a pediatric dentist. At no time prior to this did we have any idea that this was a possible next step. We (and her hygienist) were shell shocked. I then had a hysterical child who I had to try and explain things to, without making him feel worse and to blame for everything. After we were sent away, I asked to talk to Dr Haase and she acted completely unprofessional, backtracked, and played the victim. It was a mixed blessing because we found a dentist who actually knows how to treat children and could not be happier. My kiddo actually has been happy to go for treatment. It turns out Dr Haase was not using enough Novocain, so treatment was unnecessarily painful for him. Also, she had no idea how to effectively use laughing gas, as it did nothing for him with her treatment, but has been working wonderfully at our new clinic. I waited in vain for any kind of follow up or apology from Dr Haase or the clinic. After being a patient there for 8 or so years, I expected better. Do yourself a favor, take your kids to a real pediatric dentist."
