"Alas, very sad to give this review as I was very satisfied with Dr. Carlson. I was a patient for multiple years and had a dental insurance change that resulted in Birchwood no longer being covered. Completely on me for not re-confirming my benefits. What saddened me is that Birchwood let me incur two visits where I would need to pay out of pocket before any notification. On communication with the office manager, I got a primer on the financial authorization I signed and EOBs and such, which again I completely understand, but I chose Birchwood because of the family feel of the practice and am so saddened to realize that you are just another patient that is part of the practice's machine."
